After the
long winter months, we love nothing more than opening the windows to let in the
crisp spring air here in Cambridge. We don't consider the fact that the dirty and dingy screens
mess with the air quality not to mention the dirt and debris stuck to the
screens that can blow into the house. Clean screens will help keep coughing to
a minimum and let in all that fresh air we have been missing. Here are some
tips on how to clean your screens. Techniques differ depending on how dirty
they are.
If your screen is only slightly dusty with minimum debris I would recommend keeping the screens on and using a lint brush, this is a gentle way to clean them with minimal work involved.

If your
vacuum cleaner has a soft brush attachment you can run the brush softly along
the screen to suck up any unwanted dust.
if this doesn't work it's time to remove the screens
If your
screens have dirt caked on I would recommend taking them outside and wetting
them first with your garden hose then using a soft cloth and a mixture of
vinegar and water to help remove any debris, for harder to remove gunk you can
use a mixture of water and dish soap, don't push too hard though! Then
rinse the screen and lightly tap it to remove access water. allow to dry
completely before you put them back on the windows.

Excellent post, I just passed this into a colleague who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that. trushine window cleaning
